Absoluter Wiederholungsbedarf!😍

Unforgettable animal encounters and very delicious food I had an absolutely incredible safari experience in Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro, all thanks to the exceptional team of professionals, Joel and Chef Joachim (Mr. D). Joel, our outstanding tour guide, made sure every moment was unforgettable, leading us to incredible encounters with elephants and lions. His knowledge and passion for the wildlife truly enhanced our journey. And speaking of journeys, Chef Joachim (Mr. D) took us on a culinary adventure like no other. Regardless of dietary preferences, he skillfully prepared the most delicious meals, catering to both vegetarians and those with gluten-free requirements. The combination of expert guiding and delectable dining made this safari an experience of a lifetime. I can't recommend Joel and Chef Joachim enough for making this trip so special!

5 Day Safari with Joel and Mr. D. Absolutely recommended! We booked a 5 day Safari tour and had the best team on our side. Our guide Joel knows reeaaally everything about the animals and showed us amazing spots and always made sure that we have a good view at the animals. On the same time he cares a lot about the wildlife animals. He stopped twice and got out of the car to put rocks and wood as protection for a bird that was sitting on eggs very close to the street. We felt very safe and we learned a lot about the serengety and saw the big 5. We also had the best chef with us Mr. D. short for delicious. He has got this name for a reason. He made us awesome food 3 times a day, even in the middle of nowhere we had a perfectly delicious lunch. Really talented man. We are really thankful for this trip and happy we have met the owner Ally of mma and his staff. It has been the most beautiful wildlife experience we have ever had. Ally even surprised us with a wonderful Accommodation instead of a tent, knowing it was our honeymoon. Asante sana for that unforgettable adventure!

Perfect way to make memories in Africa! We went on a 5 days safari and it was absolutely amazing! Joel, our guide, really knows the national parks like his backyard and where the animals are hiding. He was always making sure, that we had the best spot for the best picture. Next to the greatest guide we also had the most amazing chef, who absolutely deserves his nickname Mr. Delicious. Wonderful and varied food made with love! Asante sana!

Our trip was organized by our brilliant host Ally and Joely, our tour guide is very knowledgeable about the animals and the nature. Makes our 4-day trip a lifetime experience to remember. We stay at Ally’s hostel “We Are One” the night before the safari and the next morning we started our wilderness safari to Tarangire, the Serengeti and end up at Ngorongoro Crater National park. With Ally as organizer and Joel as Guide, your Safari will certainly be extraordinary! (Assessment in German & English version) English version: Our safari guide was Joel, a lovely man who provided us with his knowledge of the animals. If he ever didn't know something, his clever book is there to help out. He was very trustworthy and did his best to get us to the best places for animal spotting. Our safari consisted of 2 days, first Tarangire National Park and then Ngorongoro National Park. Both parks are beautiful and are highly recommendable. We spent the night in a small resort in some tents. The food there was great. Tasty, local dinner and several courses. At breakfast, our very early departure time was taken into account, but we were still provided with a large menu. Lunch was eaten in the car during the safari. Despite this, it was quite good. The car was a good fit for the 8 of us. Most of the time we stood (on purpose) as you could fold the roof up. But sitting was always possible. Now to the main man, our contact and organizer, Ally. Joel, our guide, works for him. We paid for the safari through Ally and he organized our meals. He himself is an incredibly funny and nice guy who cares deeply about other people. He also owns the "We are one hostel" in Arusha, where you can spend the time before or after your arrival. Which is also highly recommendable. Ally doesn't rip you off either and a lot of his income goes into building a secondary school for Arusha's children.

TANZANIA

ARUSHA

ARUSHA, TANZANIA

Tanzania is home to some of Africa’s most alluring destinations

The Serengeti’s wildebeest migration along an infinite savanna; the incongruous snow of Mt Kilimanjaro – Africa’s tallest mountain at 5,895m (19,341ft); the crater bottom of Ngorongoro National Park teaming with wildlife; the Swahili coast and pristine beaches along the spice islands of Zanzibar where fishermen still plough the turquoise waters in traditional wooden sailboats; Selous – Africa’s largest protected area and larger than Switzerland; Ruaha and Katavi – insider tips for serious safari-goers; Mahale and Gombe – prime destinations for seeing chimpanzees in the wild.

Throughout, Tanzania offers travelers an array of options, set against the backdrop of a cultural mosaic. Tanzania’s coastline was a favored stop on ancient trading routes between the Indian sub-continent and the Middle-East. Spices, jewels and slaves once passed through, bringing with them a melange of cultural riches that remain today. The language of Swahili was born here, and old mosques, coral palaces and pearly-white beaches still remain. While most visitors head straight for the famed northern wildlife-watching circuit, followed by time relaxing on Zanzibar’s beaches, Tanzania has much more to offer anyone with the time and inclination to head off the beaten path.

While most visitors head straight for the famed northern wildlife-watching circuit, followed by time relaxing on Zanzibar’s beaches, Tanzania has much more to offer anyone with the time and inclination to head off the beaten path.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants as compared to anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and distinctive location to visit.

Located just a few hours drive from the town of Arusha, Tarangire is a popular stop for people travelling through the northern safari circuit on their way to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. The park extends into two game controlled areas and the wildlife is allowed to move freely throughout.

As well as 300-strong herds of elephant, visitors will find big groups of buffalo and healthy populations of lion and leopard. During the dry season, Tarangire has the highest concentration of mammals in the country. There are wild dog and rare antelope such as gerenuk, plus more than 550 species of birds to spot throughout the year.

Tarangire is the ideal park for those who want to explore beyond game drives. Walk through the savannah to study the smallest creatures and learn about tracking animals. Soar through the sky in a hot-air balloon at dawn or head out on a night drive to find nocturnal wildlife.

Ngorongoro Crater

tanzania

The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera.

It was named by the Maasai pastoralists after the sound produced by the cowbell (ngoro ngoro). This is a protected area and a world heritage site located 180Km west of Arusha.

It is home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five.It is one of the most sought after safari destinations in the world. It’s a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water.

Ngorongoro crater is home to a large number of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and more. It is truly one of Africa’s premier safari destinations.

When you get your first glimpse of this vast, verdant caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you’ll soon understand why it has earned such a lofty reputation.
